On Sunday many of our members joined the City of Armadale’s Harmony Day at Harrisdale Reserve.
We had our own stall where we showcased how Toastmasters works, spoke to many members of the public about our club and invited guests to join our meetings. Michelle, our current International Speech Champion was interviewed by the local newspaper, The Examiner and we hope to see an article celebrating her success soon.
We asked several members of the public to participate in Table Topics and they were surprised just how long 1 minute 30 seconds actually is. Congratulations to Pooven for organising such a harmonious day, we all had great fun and enjoyed the opportunity to highlight our club to the public.
